Power Exchange India Limited (PXIL):
PXIL is India's first institutionally promoted Power Exchange that provides innovative and credible solutions to transform the Indian Power Markets. The initial products offered for trading were electricity contracts offered on a day-ahead basis with voluntary participation. PXIL’s experience in electricity trading, conducting knowledge dissemination programmes and involvement in implementation of Market Based Mechanism (providing trading platform for Renewable Energy Certificates and association with Bureau of Energy Efficiency on PAT Mechanism) in India gets it into a unique position to undertake this capacity building and knowledge dissemination exercise for PAT Mechanism.
