Mr. Vijay Kumar Aggarwal, Independent Director and Chairman of the Board, PXIL

Mr. Vijay Kumar Aggarwal possesses over 35 years of experience of working in several government organisation(s) i.e. National and State (Maharashtra) level. He is a retired Indian Administrative Services (IAS) Maharashtra cadre.

Prior to his retirement, Mr. Aggarwal has handled several senior level positions such as Chief Secretary (Govt. of Maharashtra), Additional Chief Secretary (Planning & Finance- Govt. of Maharashtra). He was also involved in various matters dealing with policy formulation, human resource development, implementation of tax laws, designing and reviewing regulatory framework for futures trading in commodity etc. Mr. Aggarwal also acts as an Independent Director on the Board of IOT Engineering Projects Limited.

Mr. Aggarwal possesses a post graduate degree in ‘Social Sciences’ and has done M. Tech in Electronics and Telecommunication from IIT -Delhi.

Mr. Yatrik Vin, Promoter Director,PXIL

Mr. Yatrik Vin has been nominated as director on the board of PXIL by the Promoter NSICL (NSE Strategic Investment Corporation Limited). Mr. Yatrik Vin is associated with NSE (National stock Exchange of India) since, 2000. He has over 28 years of experience in Corporate Strategy, Corporate Finance, Auditing and Assurance Function, Corporate Taxation, Risk Management, Designing and Implementation of Corporate Performance Management Systems, IT Systems and Control including ERP implementation, TQM etc. Previously, he has worked with Godrej & Boyce MFG and Raymond Synthetics Limited. His professional achievements include Best CFO of the year 2015, entered in to the roll of honour – Top 100 CFOs of India and Most influential; CFO of India – by CIMA, UK.

Mr. Atul Roongta, Promoter Director, PXIL

Mr. Atul Roongta has been nominated as director on the board of PXIL by NCDEX. Mr. Atul Roongta is the Chief Financial Officer of National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) and is responsible for P&L Management. Handle Strategy, Finance, HR, Legal, Secretarial and Administration. He had previously worked with BOI AXA Investment Managers, Bharti AXA Life Insurance, KPMG Business Advisory Services Ltd, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India Pvt Ltd etc.

Mr. Ravi Varanasi, Promoter Director, PXIL

Mr. Ravi Varanasi has been nominated as director on the board of PXIL by the Promoter NSICL (NSE Strategic Investment Corporation Limited). Mr. Ravi Varanasi, is associated with NSE (National stock Exchange of India) since, 2000. Mr. Ravi Varanasi, B.Sc., ACA serves as the Chief of Business Development at National Stock Exchange of India Ltd. and served as its Senior Vice President and Assistant Vice President of Investigation & Surveillance

Dr. Kirit Shantilal Parikh, Independent Director, PXIL

Dr. Kirit Shantilal Parikh is a former Member, Planning Commission, Government of India, Chairman of Integrated Research and Action for Development (IRADe), New Delhi, Former (Founder) Director (Vice Chancellor), Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research (IGIDR), Mumbai - An Advanced Research Institute.

Dr. Parikh was honored with “Padma Bushan” by the President of India in March 2009 and is a Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences, India.

Dr. Kirit S. Parikh has a Doctor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master's Degree in Economics from MIT, USA. He has been a Professor of Economics since 1967.

He was the Chairman of the Integrated Energy Policy Committee, Planning Commission. He was a Member of the Economic Advisory Council (EAC) of the Prime Ministers of India, Atal Behari Vajpayee, P.V. Narasimha Rao, Chandra Shekhar, V.P.Singh and Rajiv Gandhi. In the past he had also been a member of the National Committee for Environmental Planning & Co-ordination, the National Committee on Science and Technology and the Fuel Policy Committee.

In 2003 he was made honorary life member of the International Association of Agricultural Economists (on an average given to two persons a year in the world). He had been president of The Indian Econometric Society and Gujarat Economic Association. He is on the governing board of many development research Institutes in India. He has also been Chairman of some of these. He is the Chairman of the Indian National Committee (India NMO Committee) for the India-IIASA (International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis) Programme.

Dr. Parikh had been in the past on the Board of Directors of a number of major industrial firms and financial institutions. Among these are Indian Petro-Chemicals Limited, Life Insurance Corporation, Industrial Development Bank of India and State Bank of India.

In 1978 he was given the "Vikram Sarabhai Award" for Systems Analysis and Management. In 1999 he was given the "Visveswaraya Award" by the Engineers' Foundation in Kolhapur. He is also a recipient of "Nayudamma Award" for contribution to the welfare of mankind through developments in the fields of Economics & Energy in February 2005.

He was honoured as the most distinguished and illustrious alumni of the decade from India by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA in September, 2007. He was conferred t Distinguished Alumnus Award by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur in September, 2007. He was felicitated as one of the engineering personalities by the Indian Engineering Congress, December 2006 .

In 1997-98, on sabbatical leave from the IGIDR where he was Founder Director from 1986 till 2000, he was Special Economic Adviser to the Administrator, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), New York. From 1980-86, as Program Leader of the Food and Agricultural Program of the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA), Austria, he directed a research programme involving 300 person years of efforts of more than 100 researchers from around the world. From 1960-80, he was Professor of Economics (and sometimes Head) of the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), New Delhi. From 1969-71, as Director of Program Analysis Group (PAG), Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India, he set up PAG to provide economic, operation research and management advice to different units of the DAE. From 1964-67 he was a Research Associate at the Center for International Studies, MIT.

Dr. Parikh had been the editor of "India Development Report" which provides a non-governmental assessment of India's development and policy options.

Dr Parikh has authored, co-authored and edited 29 books in the areas of

  • Water resource management,
  • Appropriate technology for housing,
  • Optimum requirement for fertilizers,
  • Energy systems and policy,
  • National and International food policies,
  • Trade policies,
  • General equilibrium modeling,
  • Environmental governance and

He has also published numerous articles.

Mr. Pramod Kumar Vaishya, Independent Director, PXIL

Mr. Pramod Kumar Vaishya has been appointed as the Independent Director of PXIL by the Members at the 7th Annual General Meeting of the Company held on 28th September, 2015. Mr. Vaishya has served the Madhya Pradesh Power Sector for about 41 years. He was a former Secretary to M. P. State Electricity Board (MPSEB) for about 7 years. During his tenure in MPSEB he was the head of Corporate Planning Group, responsible for implementation of reforms in the Madhya Pradesh power sector. Mr. Vaishya was the Managing Director of M. P. Power Management Company Limited for about six years (upto March 2012). Mr. Vaishya had also been on the Board of various other companies. Currently, he is the proprietor of the firm M/s. PRS Engineers and Consultants which provides consultancy to select power sector companies.

Mr. Vaishya is a B.E (Electrical) from Jiwaji University, Gwalior in 1971. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Engineers and a lifetime member of the Computer Society of India.

Mr. Shubhadeep Sen, Director (Shareholder Category), PXIL

Mr. Shubhadeep Sen has been nominated as Director on the Board of PXIL by the Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL).

Mr. Shubhadeep Sen, aged 43 Years holds a degree in B.COM, ICWA, Diploma in Business Finance (ICFAI). He has more than 22 years of work experience at GUVNL, M/s. Ambalal Sarabhai Enterprises Ltd & M/s. JMC Projects (I) Ltd. He joined GUVNL in 2003 as Dy. Chief Accounts Officer, got promoted as Controller of Finance & then as Chief Finance Manager. His work profile includes Managing, Working Capital & Project Financing requirements for all restructured entities of erstwhile GEB; Preparation of Standalone Accounts & Consolidation of Accounts; Handling Taxation matters w.r.t Assessments, Appeals before CIT, ITAT, High Court, Supreme Court; Audits (incl. C&AG, PUC); ERP Implementation, to name a few.

Mr. Ashok Kumar Prusty, Director (Shareholder Category), PXIL

Mr. Ashok Kumar Prusty has been nominated as Director on the Board of PXIL by the GMR Energy Limited (GMR). Mr. Ashok Kumar Prusty is a B.E (Mechanical) & MBA (Project Management). He has 32 years of working experience in the Indian Power Sector (24 years with NTPC and 8 years with IPPs like Jindal India Thermal Power limited, Universal Crescent Power Private Limited & Jindal Power Limited) before joining GMR Energy in December, 2015. During his service tenure he has held key responsibilities in Power Trading, Commercial, Regulatory affairs, Operation, Maintenance, Commissioning, Erection and Project Development fields. He has 18 years of experience in Erection, Commissioning and Operation and Maintenance of 200 MW and 500 MW units of Korba Super Thermal Power Station of NTPC. He was among the first person to start Power Trading in the country and has worked for 6 years as In charge of Business Development & Commercial function of Power Trading wing of NTPC.
